Hello Friends, this blog is especially for those Indian users who are struggling to connect or link their SBI bank account with their PayPal account.
Paypal is a magical way to transfer your money over the internet and it helps you to expand yours almost across the world. you can easily purchase product or service and also sell your product or services across the globe and can easily collect your payment using PayPal account.
Paypal account works like magic and transfers your money within a few seconds though it can take some time to move your money into your bank account finally. but most of the new Indian PayPal users struggle with the bank account linking with the PayPal account.
Why most of the Indian users face this problem with their PayPal account?
Actually out of 100, 95% of users in India have their account in SBI bank as this has been a tradition in India where a user is much familiar with SBI bank from their childhood and almost all the family members have the account in SBI bank.
So when they come to make some online money they come in contact with PayPal account and very first they try to connect their SBI account with their PayPal account. but they don’t get success in this linking account.
But the problem is not this, instead of when they search about the SBI account linking with PayPal account then they also get few posts where most of the users would have linked their account with the SBI and earned money through it.
So what is a problem all about regarding linking the SBI bank account with your PayPal account?
Actually, SBI bank did a contract with the PayPal a few years ago and users were able to connect their PayPal account with the SBI. At that time the3 security patch of SBI was not very complex. Now in the present time, it is not like that SBI has broken the contract with Paypal but the security layer in SBI has been increased very intensely which is actually a good thing for a normal account user but quite disappointing for PayPal user who wants to connect their SBI account with Paypal account.
So when a user tries to link SBI bank account then the two small amount that PayPal send for verification does not come in the account within four weeks. and wen user visits his branch for making an enquiry regarding same then most of the bank even does not have an idea about the PayPal account.
What is the solution to this problem for your PayPal account verification with SBI bank?
As I would not say that this is impossible to link your SBI bank account with your PayPal account. But I would advise you don’t waste your effort and money to link your SBI with Paypal account. Instead, you can directly connect ICICI, HDFC, and AXIS and etc. I would especially recommend you ICICI bank as you can fastly connect your bank account even with your simple saving account. So don’t try SBI, PNB and any other nationalize bank account as they have a various restriction as per the security patch and few government rules and regulation.
Once you will open your account in either in ICICI or HDFC bank and once your account gets activated properly then you can easily link your account with your PayPal account and you will shortly get the two small amount to verify your PayPal account.
However, you need to check your account statement constantly for this small amount as for this small amount you often do not get any message in your mobile phone.
What about the credit card and debit card linking to PayPal account?
I think if you want to use add your card for purchasing purpose through PayPal account then you can easily connect your card even you can also connect your SBI debit card too or any other debit or credit card.
If you have already linked your SBI account a few years and it is in working properly till now without any security patch then it is well and good. But now if you are a new PayPal user and trying or thinking to try link your SBI account with your Paypal account then I would suggest you not to waste your energy and money in doing that instead just open an account in ICICI bank and that could be a simple saving account and then easily link your PayPal account. However, you can also choose alternate as HDFC and AXIS bank.
